Opened in 1816 on land that was once the exclusive preserve of wine warehouses, as a replacement for the ancient Sainte-Marguerite Cemetery, Bercy today contains about 1,200 graves.

Look for the large mausoleum between divisions 4 and 6 of Julius Gallois, former maire of Bercy and one of the first wine merchants to install warehouses for wine in Bercy.

Directions
As you exit the Metro look for rue des Meuniers and walk one block to Avenue General Michel Bizot. Turn left and walk down to rue du Charenton. Turn right and the cemetery entrance is on your right.
