Grenelle cemetery

Opened in 1835, 1.6 acre Grenelle is a small cemetery tucked away in the 15th arrondissement.

Notwithstanding its size, Grenelle has several curious and intriguing pieces of sculpture, in particular, the dramatic angel sweeping over the Henri Schmid gravesite (right).
