METRO: saint-paul, LINE 1
Among the notable burials here is the Jesuit priest François La Chaise (1624-1709), confessor of Louis XIV. Today he is most remembered for lending his name to the Jesuit retreat once located on Mont-Louis east of Paris, a piece of property today known as Père-Lachaise Cemetery.
